Frequently asked questions about fees

Are fees included in notary fees?

No, property hunter fees are separate from notary fees. They are paid directly to the hunter at the signing of the final deed at the notary's office.

What happens if you don't find my property?

At Home Select, fees are 100% success-based. If we don't find your property within the agreed timeframe (typically 3 to 6 months), you pay absolutely nothing.

Are fees negotiable?

Our fees are transparent and reflect the quality of our service. On average, the 6% negotiation we achieve on the asking price compensates and exceeds our fees.

When are fees due?

Fees are only due at the signing of the final deed at the notary's office, i.e., when you officially become the owner. Never before.

Why 2.5% and not less?

This rate allows us to mobilize a team of 16 hunters, access the off-market, and negotiate an average 6% off the asking price. The net gain for our clients consistently exceeds the cost of our fees.

Are there any hidden fees?

None. Our fees cover the entire service, from defining your criteria to key handover. No file fees, no registration fees, no surprises.
