An expert paid for the result
An apartment hunter will always be paid for the result. Very concretely, if you ask one of the HOME SELECT experts for your project, you will not have to pay anything before signing the authentic act at the notary.
The amount that will be requested from you in respect of the apartment hunter's fees will be the same, regardless of the number of visits required. You can decline several successive proposals from your real estate hunter, his price will not increase. And if you don't finally write any purchase offer, you won't have to pay a single cent.
Strictly regulated remuneration
Don't worry about the unexpected with your real estate hunter: his price will always be calculated in full compliance with the Hoguet law, which regulates the profession. Very concretely, this “Law No. 70-9 of January 2, 1970 regulating the conditions for the exercise of activities relating to certain transactions relating to buildings and businesses” imposes several rules, both on apartment hunters and on real estate agents.
This specifies, for example, that we cannot ask you to pay for any service in advance. Anxious to strictly follow the legislation, we never charge application or registration fees. As members of the National Federation of Real Estate Hunters (FNCI), we are committed to honoring its ethical charter. This stipulates in particular that “the members of the federation undertake to respect the Hoguet law (law No. 70-9 of January 2, 1970, and its successive amendments) regulating the conditions for the exercise of activities relating to certain transactions relating to buildings and businesses”.
It is important to specify that a real estate hunter is only paid for the result. Thus, people who decide to use the services of this expert do not owe him anything until the day the authentic act is signed at the notary. Even if the professional has made 20 or even 50 visits, but his research has not been successful, his customers have had no crush and that, therefore, they do not write any purchase offers, he does not receive a euro. Regarding the real estate hunter and his prices, the watchword is therefore serenity, because no service payment can be requested from future purchasers/tenants in advance. Why this pay-for-profit rule? Because the law says so. The Hoguet Law — or “Law No. 70-9 of January 2, 1970, regulating the conditions for the exercise of activities relating to certain transactions relating to buildings and businesses” — regulates our profession as well as that of real estate agents and others. At HOME SELECT, we respect the regulations in force and we do not take any advance or administrative fees.
